Door Lock issue 200

I have a 86 240 that has a door lock issue. The motor works, but sometimes I have to unlock it twice to open the door or pull it up on the inside twice to open. If I unlock it and open and close the back door, I have to insert the key and "unlock" it again. What should I do to fix this? Thanks.
