...the root cause was due to the distributor housing through-bolt being shorted to distributor body or something along those lines...this came up not too long ago (but I can't seem to find it), so I'd like to link this in a Sw_Em tech article...this is a subtle but somewhat common cause of ignition problems I'd like to include as an item to watch for during servicing...
