Forum;
I have just completed and uploaded a new Sw-Em tech article which explores the subtle differences in design philosophies of the power wiring of the Ignition Switch between the 122 and 1800 models. While doing research for this article, I found a built-in ignition reliability weakness in the 1800 design, which would certainly account for intermittent ignition failures, and which should be of interest to any carburated 1800 owner.

Maybe an owner who sees this posting and who also visits the popular Yahoo Forum for 1800s can let them know about this. I'm not on that forum because I refuse to sign up and give a bunch of info which is none of their business...or maybe I should just sign up as a 142 year old Disney character with a PHD, living in the basement of the Paris Opera house, who enjoys performing Gypsy Jazz and who drives an 1800 powered by a refurbished JUMO 002...that would expand their demographics mining!
Cheers
