Folks, I could use some guidance here. My 1990 740 16 valve 4 sp+od wagon's clutch is slipping under load. Clutch takes up normally when I take off from a dead stop and run through the gears but the slightest pressure on the clutch pedal and the clutch slips. Less than 100,000 km on the current clutch but in retrospect it was a mistake letting my son try to learn to drive on it. Been looking around for an aftermarket clutch kit. Found the following at rockauto.com. Quite a spread in price ($120 -> $324). I think the kit is the same as for the B230 engine. Recommendations? The car is in Ontario and I have to get this sorted later this month in prep for a 3000 km trip with a heavy load.
