I posted an earlier thread about cold running issues and the car throwing codes. It was showing codes 1-1-3, 2-3-1, and 2-2-1 which all seem to indicate a lean mixture at idle. I cleaned the throttle body, replaced several vacuum hoses, replaced the intake gasket, and checked everything else but can't find any sign of a vacuum leak. I unplugged the AMM and found that the car ran better, so I was sure it was a bad AMM. I replaced the AMM yesterday and the car now cranks and idles cold like it should, but it's still throwing codes 2-3-1 and 2-2-1. Today I replaced the oxygen sensor (it was the original with 205k miles on it, which oddly enough screwed out without any trouble) but I'm still getting codes 2-3-1 and 2-2-1.
Does this HAVE to be a vacuum leak? The fuel pressure regulator is only a couple of years old, but could it be that?
The car seems to be running fine, but I'd REALLY like to make that damn check engine light go off and STAY off. Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated.
