Putrid Yellow P/S fluid? What gives?

My new to me 84 244DL has gnarly looking yellow fluid. The color reminds me of the color of the blood from a character in the movie Sin City.

Any good reasons it would be this color? The PS isn't complaining at all... I don't think it's dye, but i've never seen dye that wasn't clear and UV activated before.
