Exchangeability of parts between 1989 740 GLE and 1992 740 GL 700

I am trying to use parts from our "totalled" 1992 740 GL to rebuild our 1989 740 GLE. After purchasing this baby, realized it was the sweet twin cam engine but I am not sure what parts are interchangeable and don't know best place to find out. Of specific interest is:
Power steering rack
Muffler, crossover and tailpipe
Fuel pump
Any ideas or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
