cleaning a relay 200 1988

hi,

i'm about to get into the wiper relay to figure out if that's why my wipers don't work. i did have a windshield leak awhile back and some of the archive info mentions that can get into the relays.


if you clean out a relay to remove corrosion grunge, what do you clean it with? regular soap and water or something designed especially for automotove use.
