Gas Smell 200 1992

Strange problem of gas smell permeating the trunk and interior of my 1992. I know most of my Volvos (4 of them) stink when I pull them in the garage after they have been running for a while from the gas venting from the cap. However this one is a bit different. If I open the trunk I get a wiff of gas and when I get in the vehicle the same thing.

I have taken out the rug in the trunk and sniffed around the cover of the fuel pump and smell nothing there. I have also used silicone to completely seal around the gas filler tube where it passes through the body of the vehicle to the filler cap. There is also a small hose that comes off the top of the filler tube(clamped) and connects(via clamp) to a rigid small diameter green tube that goes through the floor (probably into the tank to recirculate the fumes).

Any suggestions?
