Towing with Car Dolly 900 1991

Read some prior post regarding towing capacity but was hoping to get some feedback from some who have used their 945 Turbo to tow another vehicle with a tow dolly. Negotiating the sale of my beloved 74 BMW 2002tii in order to purchase an older Datsun Roadster. I may need to transport each vehicle (1500 miles each way) and am considering using the brick as my tow vehicle. Brick in excellent condition with 124K miles and factory tow bar. All thoughts are welcome.
