Repairing back plastic frame in a headlight assembly 900 1993

Drivers side black plastic frame holding the fog lamp and headlamp is broken; lights are fine. Will JB weld bond some plastic shims to this broken frame? Any advice on a glue that might work? It's broke in such a way that pop riveting something to reinforce it will not be strong enough I'm pretty sure. I've been watching the pic n pull for months. Thanks for any thoughts.
