Replaced wheel bearings - Huge Improvement!

I just replaced the front bearings on my 84 244DL. Wow. I'm stunned at how much it improved. I also patched the weatherstripping to cut down on wind noise, but I'm amazed at how much better it feels. I'll post photos when I can get them off my phone.

The obvious is fixed - the humming and grinding are gone.
Also, the car feels like it accelerates better. The brakes work considerably better, and the handling is a lot better. The car handles better and feels more stable and planted on the road.

I think the rears are bad too, but that's another post.

Maybe I'll do a write-up. I have a lot of photos and it made a big difference.

Happy Bricking!
