Replacing back glass on SW with older smaller glass. Will brake light fit? 200 1990

Hey!
I'm getting my winter car ready and need a new back glass. I got a smaller glass from an older model and from looking at it just wonder how the brake light will fit, do I have to get the older brake light to?
