what else do I need to install the sender 200 1985

Picked up a 5 bar oil pressure gauge and sender for my 1985 245DL. I know I need the adapter bushing 1/8-27 npt to M14x 1.5 but do I also need an elbow to clear the alternator ?
I had one years ago but forget what I did.
