Ever encountered a factory manual transmission in a 940 in North America with the B230 engine? Preferably NA and not turbo.

I once located a 1991 Volvo 940 in Texas some years ago that came with a manual transmission on either ebay motors or cars.com. It was normally aspirated. Maybe in 2004 or 2005.

If a 940 in North America can be found with a B230 and manual transmission, what manual transmission type? M47? M56?

I'll guess the customer had to order that feature uniquely?

I'd planned to move up to a 940 someday from my current 240 armada (with TransWarp drive). I don't like automatic transmission and swaps are wrought with some risk. However, the different front 940 suspension and wider track (versus the 240) must mean more passenger room and some ride quality and handling advantages. The Nivomat IRS scares me though and I'd rather have the live rear axle. Oh well.

Has anyone imported a later model 940 from Europe or elsewhere since 1995 was the last 940 year in North America versus 1998 in Europe?
