I recently had to replace the battery on my 960 sedan after a child passenger didn't shut their door completely and the dome light ran the battery down over night. Jumping the car wouldn't start it, so, suspecting an old battery at fault, I decided to replace the battery. When I first put the new battery in, the car still wouldn't start but the alarm would go off even as I tried to start the car with the key in the ignition.
Long story short, after coming back to the car about a half hour later, the car started fine but now none of the headlights or taillights will come, and the brake lights do not work and the radio will not turn on. Some of the other electrical components function fine, such as the heated seats and the fan. All the fuses that can be checked visibly look ok. Does anyone have an idea if there is something else that could be blown that would cause this type of electrical outage?
