oil leak 700 1989

yesterday, i cleaned/replaced the crankcase ventilation system in my 780. you should see how gunked up the flame trap was! not to mention the hoses and breather box.
however, i did notice an oil leak visible underneath the car. it is coming from the front of the engine, beneath the radiator fan. what could this be from? sorry i can't provide any further information, i was unable to determine the direct source.
