Putting 240 on Blocks? 200

I have a 1990 240 wagon which has become more and more a garage queen with each passing year since 240 production was stopped. I bought it new; it currently has less than 40 Kmi on it and it has always been stored from November until May.

As I said, in trying to preserve what will never be again, we have used it very seldom the past few years. In fact, other than going around the block every so often, it was not used at all last year. So, I have decided to put it up on blocks, which leads to my question.

Would it be better to unload the tires by blocking up the car under the suspension members (trailing arm rear, control arm front) leaving the suspension loaded OR at the jacking points unloading the tires AND the suspension together?

As always, thanks to one and all.

Rich
