As soon as I get the rest of the rear suspension bushings from Rusty at RPR I'll be
reassembling the Yellow Peril's rear suspension.
Although I had few problems getting the bolts out of the steel cored bushings,an
occasion sticks in my mind where a friend and I spent 4 days under the front suspension
of my 164 removing a lower A-frame pivot bolt. Traumatic to say the least!
Since then I have made a practice of greasing the shanks of bolts that go through
steel bushings for ease of subsequent removal, hopefully to prevent them from rusting together.
Likewise on the threads of the bolts.
Do any of you see a problem with this practice?
