This is making me "mental"...after weeks of re-doing interior, including sound-deadoning, sanding, priming, painting body, changing out blower motor, doing all bushings, new windshield, yada yada, the door chime is squawking an anemic tone now and the courtesy light won't come on when the dr. door is opened. I have replaced the dr. door switch, fiddled with removing/replacing it a few times, swapped out the chime with another, etc. Can anyone tell me when to dig out the wires that go to the door switch? Have I failed to properly re-hook up a ground somewhere? I want to keep the chime, as my son leaves the lights on sometimes....thanks everyone!
