What does this mean smart people 900

Hello
so our newish old 93 940 turbo is the vehicle in question.
was running good but very loud main pump. this led me to discover tank pump inoperable so i changed both. fuel pressure now checks out.
was running fine then it wasnt.
At idle shakes and exaust smells like unburnt fuel. stumbling all over.
Cleaned idle valve. newer cap and rotor. newer plug wires. gapped plugs. tested ect sensor out of car.
strange thing is when i unplug AMM idle smooths out. swapped in AMM from my other car (daily driver) and no improvement in idle. this may be a clue for smarter people than me.
tomorrow i will test ect wiring to ecu and swap out the crank sensor just because. will also swap fuel pressure regulator from daily driver. im thinking the two replacement pumps maybe put more pressure on FPR and damaged.
also bought new spark plugs today for install.
throwing no codes.
mostly the AMM situation is my concern and what it may be telling me.
hopefully i will stumble upon a fix.
any suggestions?
thanks
Mike
