I just spend quite some time fixing the power door locks on my car. I had the fuse removed to avoid spasming locks for several months. I bought heat-shrink tubing, but didn't have enough to complete the job. All it took was half a roll of UL listed vinyl electrical tape and a few hours.
Now that I've gotten that fixed, I've got another issue. The door chime went from a solid BING to a weak, staccato ping, and the dome light does not turn on with the door being opened. Could this be corrosion in the door switch?
Thanks to those who have helped me with the problems on this 240. I'm chipping away at them and making good progress, thanks to good advice.
