I have a 1983 240 Turbo Wagon that has been running great. Last week on the way home the electrical system started acting flaky (the radio was flickering off and on and the directionals were blinking crazy fast). I stopped for gas before heading home and the car wouldn't restart cause the battery was dead. I got a jump and made it home (it was less than a mile). The next day I pulled the alternator and battery and brought it to the local parts store to get tested. The battery needed a charge, but much to my surprise, the alternator checked out to be fine! Now, with the battery charged, the engine turns over and seems to fire in only one cylinder but just wont start. The car is old but I would really like to get this thing rolling again. I also replaced the main fuel pump just two weeks ago along with the timing belt. Thanks in advance!
