Hi all--

I have a 1992 240 (127K on the odo) that's suddenly developed an oil leak and a pretty good one at that.

I'm thinking it might be a clogged flame trap/PCV that's forcing oil out of the seals, so I have that on order (I haven't changed the flame trap yet). That's my first step since it's cheap.

The last couple of days, however, I've noticed that it produces heat intermittently. The heater will blow cold air one minute, then warm air the next.

Is it possible the two problems are related?

I sure would appreciate your help! Thanks!
