Decision time on the '68 dual line MC 120-130

Got some bad news from Eric today - my original MC needs a re-sleeve. I already have an RX7 MC on hand, but obviously not original but apparently can be made to work OK.

So $250+ for the original or make the RX7 one work? I usually keep the cars original but the '68 dual line is a bit of an odd ball and I like the idea of readily available parts (ala RX7)

What do you think guys?
