Hi.

A friend found a 1986 700 Series Volvo for sale. I'm going to look at the car tomorrow and wondered what areas I should be aware of. I spoke to the girl who owns the car, and she wasn't even sure of what model it was.

She did say the rotors needed done and new tires - of course it ran great when she parked it, but it will need a state inspection. She also said the rotors were a one piece unit, so I think that narrows it down to some style of 740. She also said it only had 81K, but I think she's probably a bit off on that.

Any specific mechanical/body issues with mid 80's 700 series I should look for?
