Odometer works - Speedo does not 200 1989

Since everyone is in such a good mood this time of year, let's try this one:
It started about 3 weeks ago when the Speedometer stopped working, but the Odometer has been working perfectly. Then last week, the Speedo was alive again, but it only lasted a couple of days. Now, I'm back to zero movement.
I'm really hoping not to have to take the Speedo apart.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
