940 stalls, dead battery on restart... 900 1993

'93 Volvo 940, 160,000+ miles
Starts and runs fine. Second time GF goes out to heat up car, will run for 5 or 10 mins, stall, and not start again. Dead battery. Will run fine after jump. Will I be looking for a new battery? Alternator replaced by PO before I bought it 4 years ago, and is pumping out 14.5V when running. Battery reads 12.3V when charged.
