To update other post on cruise not working. Found someone had jumped 2 wires from the gear select switch. Removed switch & repaired it to have the switch working as it should. Back up lights work & car starts in park/neutral instead of all gears. Pulled the instrument cluster & reseated all connectors. There's supposed to be a yellow wire plugged into the middle of the cluster that tells the cruise control unit vehicle speed. What I found was a Yellow/White wire so I guess that is the important wire.

I don't know which of the repairs did fix the cruise, but it's nice to have it & the other electrical issues fixed. Now I can get the console & other panels back together. Made a big mess removing panels to follow the wiring & gain access to the fuse panel without pulling it from the front. Can't get the dang radio out to address its issue.
