I know I could post this in the classified section but if everyone else reads that as often as I do...
Long story made short; I broke a head bolt off in the block of our '92 960 while pulling the head to change a head gasket. Since we paid next to nothing for the car, it owes us nothing at this point so I'm parting it out. The head is in nice shape. It's been off before but I don't know why. All I know is it had an Elring head gasket on it. Regardless, I couldn't find any measurable warp in it and, of course, nothing is bent. Other than some cleaning of the mating surfaces and a skim to make sure it's 100% true, I wouldn't hesitate to bolt it on and go.
The cams are '92 so are the 204 hp version and show no appreciable signs of wear.
I'd like $200 for the head and $100 for the cams. I've got a new Elring head gasket I can include for another $25. Shipping will be extra. please contact me at aptec (at) shaw (dot) ca for more information and pictures.
Thanks,
