Is it worth it to change timing gears to round tooth design? 700 1989

The Wifemobile is due for a timing belt change in the next few months. It is an 89 740 nonturbo with 200K miles. A few years ago, I had the head rebuilt and all has been well ever since. BUT....I was at the local PickNPull and saw a 95 940 turbo with 138K miles on the odometer. This model has the round tooth gears for the 100K timing belt, instead of the square tooth 50K belt on the 89 740.
Is it worth removing these 3 gears, and installing them plus a new belt on the 89??
Thanks for any other ideas,
el raidman
