Leaves in the cowl grille 200 1985

I found a nice '85 245 that has been parked under a live oak tree that drops its small leaves. Alot have gone into the cowl grille next to the windshield.
What would be the best way to remove them all short of picking each leaf out with a hemostat? Using a vacuum? How would I get between the grille slats with it? Thanks for any suggestions.
