headlights 200 1989

I find I'm at the 'puter in the BB website wondering if I have anything to say/ask or answer about and I suddenly got one-a question that is..

Headlights-('89 wagon) -I’ve never had to replace the headlight -“bulb” -is it?- in any 240 we have owned BUT if it came to it, is there an actual small-ish bulb in the headlights that screws out/pops out- or? AND are there brighter bulbs such as halogens that can be used? This is of course would be-(maybe not) if a "bulb" ever does burn out-which I'm sure they do eventually. Also, is there a way to adjust the projection of the headlight beam? I imagine there is.
The low beams seem to be aimed just a bit high as I do get oncoming cars flash their lights at me occasionally at night as if they think my brights are on when they are not.

Im even considering replacing the headlights “bulb” with halogens-if they are available- even if they don’t burn out-only factor would be if they cost like $100 or so-each--that would stop me. Thanks.
