Wet Weather and a 240 that won't start is fixed! 200

Hey All,

This is a follow up to my inquiry to wet weather and a 240 not starting the results.

1st thanks for all the suggestions.

Okay so I basically tried everything suggested, I replaced the Rotor, Rotor cap, coil, spark plug wires.

I then measured the fuel flow to make sure it wasn't lacking of gas. All good there.

A suggestion of the coolant temperature sensor was made and I replaced it. Still not working. I broke down and took it to my dependable mechanic in Pasadena.

It turns out it was two things. The Power Stage that is this small module that connects to the body right next to the battery/coil and, he also replaced the RMP speed sensor that connects to the tranny and is mounted by the fire wall.

As a precaution, he also changed the fuel pump relay under the dash as it was the original.

The car is running again for the sum total of $500. It may seem like a lot but its a lot less than a regular car payment!

Hope this helps anyone else whose 240 just won't start.
