First Post, GREAT Board.
The "Chickmagnet is a 1993 240 wagon. my 18yr old son has a 91, and I just got this for my 16yr son. The 240 won't pass MD inspection with non working Odo. The speedo/odo is a K39200 series. I have tried 3 different K39200 faces in 2 clusters. Even tried a K9800 (at the time I didn't know there was a difference)All gears seem fine. (I have replaced before and have one in "Inventory") No debris in the works, checked with magnification. Found and resoldered one cracked motor lug. Found a high lug that interfered with gear rotation. Clipped and resoldered. Speedo works. Sensor on differential removed cleaned and reinstalled (the same sensor). Connectors are good. Red wire reads 12 volts when using Black as grnd on back of cluster connector. White wire with green stripe shows no eletricity. I am about ready to drive to Art! I'm in Annapolis. Any other ideas????
