Looking at a '87 245 that has alot of bounce when pushing down on the rear bumper and overall the rearend sits just a little lower than my son-in-law's '91
245. I know the shocks probably need replacing, but short of replacing the rear springs, can anything be done with them (springs) to give them a couple more inches of height overall? Wedges or braces between the coils? Especially on the cheap if possible. Or maybe springs from another type of vehicle from the boneyard that would be interchangable and or stiffer?
Thanks for looking.
