pulsing after steering rack change 200

I changed the steering rack on my 1982 242 GLT in December and at first all seemed to be well. I bought the rebuilt rack from Jorgen and it has performed admirably. Recently however I have noticed some pulsing/juddering when braking to come to a stop. I don't know if there is any connection between the two or whether I have a new problem beginning with the front brakes. Any thoughts?
