I was reading a post about tall people sitting in Volvos and this came to mind. I’m 6'2" and it’s not an issue fitting in the Volvo seats as far as my height BUT I also weigh 285 pounds-big fat tummy--ha. :oÞ~~~. Anyway if there are any of ‘you” out there that might have an issue with a seat belt that’s a bit too tight or just won’t fit well, here’s what I found out. You go into a Volvo dealer with your brick so he can see the VIN for himself AND the dealer has to see your seat belt to be sure he orders the extender with the correct end so it's the same as your existing seat belt. Anyway, I did so and the dealer got for me a FREE belt extender; took a couple days for them to order it. It clips into where the belt clips/snaps in and adds about 5-6 inches in length- on the female side. That dealer said that a person can get only 1 free per VIN, I don’t know why that is. I also do not know if they are still doing it, ( I did this about 6-7 years ago) but if there’s a need you might give it a try.
