Transmission Fluid Leak? 700 1986

1986 740GLE with AT (no overdrive) 205k miles. The transmission needed 3/4 quart of ATF after 1,800 miles, and 1/2 quart of ATF over the past 500 miles. Today, my car shifted unusually hard around second gear, so I checked the ATF level. I didn't see any stains on the ground where my car spends most of the time parked. I presume I have a failing seal, probably front main? I'm going to take it to the shop ASAP and not drive it until then. If the front main seal needs replacing, should I also have the rear engine seal replaced? Any other repairs I should have done while they have the transmission out? Thanks?
