It seems to me the newer Volvo's do not hold their resale value, what is going on here? 2010

I live in Hawaii & have noticed the prices for 2000 + Volvos to be very low on resale. I've no interest in these front wheel drive cars but just curious what is the reason for this? any ideas? thx, Bill
