Hello, I'm new here and want to say thanks for all the great info on 444/544!

I'm working on a 544 restoration and was wondering what is the consensus on converting the front drums over to disc brakes? Is it worth the effort?

Also, does anyone know a good source of the necessary parts (ebay's been pretty dry lately)?

Lastly, is there an easy test to determine if my kingpins need to be replaced (they dont seem to have any 'wobble')

I have the car stripped and laying on its side on a mattress right now. I did this so I could remove the undercoating (which is not easy), and to replace some floorpans.
