AC belt 200 1990

My new to me (today!) 240 sedan broke the AC belt on the way home. This of course means no power steering. The belt is obviously dry rotted beyond belief (oddly, the timing belt looks great) as are the the rest of the V-belts.

Obviously a belt swap is my first order of business, followed by the brake bleeding, but is there anything I need to look at before I just swap the belts? I assume the pulley on the AC compressor should spin freely until the clutch engages. Power steering pump should have resistance, but can it be turned by hand?

I fear the clutch or power steering pump are frozen which caused the sudden catastrophic failure. Just wanted to get it home in the cold and rain and worry about it later.

Thanks,

Mike
