Hello,
I have some questions.
I went through the normal checks to start my car.
My fuel pump relay appears to be working but I am not hearing the fuel pump run.
I am not getting fuel to the fuel rail at all.
I disconnected the supply to the fuel rail, taped the hose in a bottle, and no fuel was delivered into the bottle when cranking the engine.
I hear a click under the hood when jumpering 87/2 to 30. It sounds like from the right side. That is the rough location of the noise suppression relay.
Will a bad noise suppressor relay prevent fuel to be delivered to the fuel rail?
I want to try to eliminate all the simple and inexpensive fixes before I start replacing fuel pumps.
Its possible that I have a clogged filter, or varnish in the tank since the car sat for a while.
What electrical problems could be causing my problem?
how can I check to see that the sending unit in the tank is getting voltage?
