windshield wipers: ON! 200

Good morning,
Our new to us 240 has an issue with the windshield wipers: they are constantly on when in intermittent, speed1, speed2, or off, once the stalk is activated or blipped to complete one swipe of the glass. The only way to turn the wiper off is to shut the car off and wait a few seconds, they they stop.

I am assuming this is the wiper relay that is shot?
