Well, I finally got around to getting a new tire on my spare wheel. After all the expensive rust removal, fabrication, finding perhaps the last NOS spare tire door in North America, getting the door painted and wired--the modern tire is too fat to fit in.

So I have thought maybe I could find a small additional gas tank that would fit in there, so I could have more than < 9 gallons. Has anybody done this?
