1980 242 GT. It sometimes take 10 minutes of off and on cranking to get it to start when cold. Once it finally will start it will run rough.
I'm not sure if this is related but, it does not want to idle below 1000rpm or so. If it does it's extremely rough. Other wise the car runs okay.
New plugs, wires, headgasket, timing belt, etc. Checked Cam timing and all seems fine. I was off a little and it was running low on power but since than seems fine. I was off by a tooth. The car was acting the same before and after I fixed the CAM timing so, I don't believe this is related. Of course it has more power now.
I was thinking vacuum leak or something but, I can't seem to find anything that is disconnected/missing. It does however sound like a major vacuum leak is somewhere. More towards the rear of the engine but, again, I can't find anything.
