Changing AC Compressor 1997 960 900 1997

I need to change the ac compressor on my 1997 960 and need to know if anyone has changed one by working only from the bottom and if so how? I have changed one before, but I worked from the top and removed the alternator and the power steering pump to get to the compressor which may be a lot of extra work if it can be accessed entirely from the bottom.

Also I have a post in the classifed section for an air mass meter that I brought from Volvo for a 1992 960, but did not install if anyone needs one. It is a reconditioned unit from Volvo and cost over 300 dollars. I will sell it for 150 dollars, including shipping.
