Nuts: Brake Tube Fitting Snapped 700 1990

After 22 years, it was time for new rear calipers. The usual corroded brake pipe fittings intervened. I got one off using about a week's worth of various penetrating oils (Kroil, my own home brew of acetone and ATF, and CRC Freeze-Off) and a propane torch but the other one simply would not budge. In fact, when budging it I snapped it off. Rather than secure a flaring tool and try to re-flare the rear line end, I am just going to route a new tube ($45) under the car to the junction box. Now to the junction box which is hiding under the master cylinder: I only pray that the fitting for the front end of the line into the aluminum box is not corroded in place too. Replacing that box would be a nightmare.
The rear tubing looks easier than the right front tube which likewise snapped off about four years ago; bending and routing that was a real headache.
Life in the Rust Belt... Manufacturers would make life MUCH easier by assembling cars with selected fittings coated in antiseize under the assumption that someday some mechanic will have to remove it.
