Occasional rough running and part indentity question... 200 1984

IAC motor sticks on occasion even after cleaning so needs to be replaced. What is the correct part number for the late 84 B23F with 3 wire Oxygen Sensor? 501 or 520? Also there is a little black box on the firewall with the word UP and an arrow on it, also an adjustment knob on the top. It has a blue/red wire going to the harness and a black wire grounded to the firewall. Any idea what it does?
