State of the 2xx motor mount. 200 1988

So.. The passenger side diesel mount is apparently not available, and you are likely to get a standard non-diesel piece from several accounts of orders of the supposed drivers side diesel one from the dealer recently. So that sorta sucks. I could quote a bunch of confusing PN supercessions from my notes if anyone likes.

Tasca still lists standard 240 mounts, that they list as covering all of them, turbo and non, for cheap, which are presumably better then aftermarket junk, though I'd like to know if they are better than the Febi/Bilstien stuff I can get for next to nothing through work or not.

I did find a PN of 1272676 that comes up from Tasca for $65(!) that is, in theory, a turbo specific passenger side. Though I'm afraid things being what they are it would get her with a sticker under it showing one of the $13 standard mounts.

Soo... Bummer. Now what? I really had my heart set on a pair of genuine OE Volvo diesel mounts, but it seems not to be. I do still find aftermarket diesel specific PN one's available, cheap as they are I guess I could see how they feel in hand, but I usually avoid FEQ and the like for rubber. I will say I put FEQ's on my Rabbit diesel and they are fine with 20K hard miles on them, though in person they looked exactly like close up photo's of current factory diesel mounts from VW, so go figure. What a pain this stuff is sometimes.
